I do love experimenting with many different ways of working, many different surfaces and techniques...sometimes I look at my work and think "hey did this at times conflicting aesthetic material all come from me?" What gives me courage to put out so much diversity are the words of Walt Whitman:

"Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)" :)

Hmmm....... it will have to be the year of the new kiln...I have forgotten how much space bowls take up ...and my 20 year old small kiln is busting at the seams...I am however, really enjoying making this form and exploring different permutations of surface...from transfers to inlaid clay.
